How?
The Earth is divided into three mega-layers: the core, mantle and the outer crust. We live on the outer crust. Volcanoes erupt when two of the Earth's destructive plate boundaries come together and fight over each other. The 'fight' would summon vibrations for miles around and the volcano would erupt.
The volcano would spill out loads of magma, and severe damage could be caused.
